Energy poverty is defined as having little or no access to grid electricity. Currently, 789 million people worldwide live in extreme energy poverty—that is 1 in 10 people. SolarBuddy has a solution to provide low-income families with a collective suite of sustainable solutions to help them break their cycles of energy poverty, while helping them thrive under the four pillars of health, education, environment, and economic.
