Digital delivery only works when models are reliable enough to build from. Yet many teams still struggle with trust, alignment, and inconsistency expectations. This session will share lessons from a large-scale structural project where model reliance became critical during the transition from design to construction. We'll walk through what worked, what didn't, and how expectations shifted across architects and contractors. You'll leave with a practical framework to improve model reliability and reduce coordination risk.

Unlock the secrets behind Autodesk Certification. These exams are designed to validate real-world workflow skills required across the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry. Yet many candidates struggle to understand what's truly being evaluated or how to prepare. Join exam authors for a behind-the-scenes look at how exams are designed to reflect industry practice and skills being tested. Learn from contributors to Certified Professional Exams in BIM Management and Revit Architectural, Structural, and Electrical Design. They will present certification-style examples inspired by real exam objectives and explore interpretation strategies. You'll leave with a clearer understanding of how certification aligns with project workflows and how to improve skills needed to succeed.

Discover how to effectively use Revit software's Coordination Model Changes to monitor and manage updates across disciplines. In this hands-on session, architects and engineers will learn practical methods to detect, review, and act on element changes directly within their models. The session will cover step-by-step workflows for identifying additions, deletions, and modifications, using visual cues, filters, and structured object data. You'll also explore how to assess geometry, properties, and transformations of updated elements to support better decision making. By the end, you'll be able to reduce manual coordination effort, improve accuracy, and confidently integrate change tracking into your daily Revit workflows.

Your firm already holds the answer to almost every question your teams ask. It's buried in specs, RFIs, submittals, drawings, and contracts across hundreds of projects. The problem was never a lack of data. It was getting an answer without digging for the artifact. This session shows what changes when AI is grounded in your real project data. We start simple, asking a question of one folder. Then we go historical: what did we spec for the curtain wall on our last three hospital projects? Then live across your active systems. The part that separates this from every generic AI demo: you watch permissions respected in real time. Change who's asking, and the answers change with them.

As a virtual design and construction (VDC) manager for a general contractor (GC), one of the largest headaches is making sure your subcontractors get their models uploaded to your Autodesk Construction Cloud hub on time, and that they're named correctly and in the right format to make Model Coordination work seamlessly. What if it didn't have to be that way? If your subcontractors also happened to be working in Autodesk Construction Cloud, it doesn't have to be. What if they just published their own models internally and all the sharing happened automatically? This class will cover how to use the Bridge tool in Autodesk Construction Cloud to enable automatic sharing of models between Autodesk Construction Cloud hubs to streamline model coordination. Not only will we cover how to share models from the subcontractor's hub to the GC hub and then on into your coordination NWF, but we'll also show you how to share models from one subcontractor to another to enable direct coordination between subcontractor Revit models.

Projects today need one or several persons to ensure that digitalization, data flow, collaboration, and intelligent models are set up and working. This session will discuss the most-common roles—digital collaboration manager, building information modeling (BIM) manager, and BIM coordinator—and the expectations and responsibilities of these different roles. In addition, we'll look at how Fornebubanen Metro has standardized how nine different BIM coordinators work, how we've managed their different personalities to fit with the standardization, and how they've advanced in practice through a project that has lasted for 12 years and has 10,000 models in BIM 360 and 12 federated models in Navisworks software. We'll see how their work has ensured a model-based project from start to finished construction, and how important their roles are to connect the design to construction. Their work has taken model-based construction to a new level, ensuring more value for all parts of the project.

This session will discuss a company's successful shift from 2D construction to 3D construction. By capitalizing on advanced digital technology, the company was able to transform its traditional 2D construction process into a more efficient and accurate 3D construction process. The new 3D process involves the creation of detailed 3D models using building information modeling (BIM) software, which allows for improved visualization, coordination, and communication between different stakeholders. The use of 3D models enables the company to detect and resolve potential design clashes, constructability issues, and conflicts between building systems before the construction phase, resulting in significant time and cost savings. Furthermore, the use of 3D models allows for more-accurate quantity takeoffs, material planning, and construction scheduling. By implementing 3D construction, the company is able to improve project quality, speed, and cost savings while maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.

How can you feel more secure in your choice of technology? Skanska Sweden tried something new in the process of transitioning from BIM 360 to Autodesk Construction Cloud. Construction lifecycles are too long for evaluation, so alongside investigations, pretend play, and meetings, Skanska arranged a three-day focused Autodesk Construction Cloud Power Pilot together with Autodesk. In this session, Linn Areno from Skanska will join Pontus Bengtson from Autodesk to tell you why they did this and what pros and cons are involved in carrying out a focused Power Pilot. In addition, we'll also talk about how to transform the industry to get back to the concept of pride in craftsmanship when we go from project to product with information at the center.

Join us in this presentation as we showcase how we used 4D visual planning, laser scanning, model-based coordination, virtual mockups, and other virtual design and construction (VDC) tools and processes to overcome existing conditions and optimize the renovation process, which included the use of 206 prefabricated bathroom pods, for the 20 Mass Ave project located in Washington, D.C. The former office building is undergoing renovation to become a mixed-use location with retail space and a luxury hotel. By working together as a whole, these tools enabled the project team to streamline communication, reduce errors, and stay on schedule and budget. Don't miss this opportunity to learn practical tips and insights on how to integrate VDC strategies for the successful implementation of prefab and modular strategies in renovation projects.

WME, part of Egis Group, will share the experience of being lead design consultant (LDC) and site supervisor on the UAE Pavilion in Dubai Expo—a building inspired by the country's national bird, the falcon.
