Whether you’re developing web- and mobile-based solutions, customizing Autodesk desktop software, or building integrations into your enterprise workflows, Autodesk is fully committed to supporting your software development efforts. In fact, there are 10 ways you can get Autodesk support and we keep adding new channels. In this class, we’re going to talk about how to get the best out of the support resources, and how to fit them to your needs as quickly as possible. You can choose from open and community support for Forge in StackOverflow, our advanced Accelerator program, our most recently added tool “The Doctor is in,” Autodesk Developer Network support for your desktop challenges, “ADN Open” online resources, and much more.

The Autodesk Developer Network is made up of the Autodesk Platform Services (formerly Forge) Developer Portal and the Autodesk Platform Services App Marketplace. Together they enable customers and partners to build apps that extend and integrate Autodesk products for internal use or to offer to Autodesk customers through the App Marketplace. This presentation targets developers, systems integrators, partners, and app publishers that either currently build apps and plug-ins, or are interested in starting. We'll review the new features and capabilities added to the network over the past year. We'll also provide a peek at the coming year's road map and discuss ways to provide feedback during Autodesk University and opportunities to engage more deeply in new capability development throughout the year.

"Stephen Hamil will present how project teams can collaborate to develop information on a BIM project. The class will initially look at setting up an execution plan to give clarity on which team members are delivering what information and when. The core part of the class will then look at how Autodesk Forge can be used as the platform to develop a collaborative cloud based solution to allow models and associated information to be viewed through the web-browser.

NBS, based in the UK, are an Autodesk Solutions Associate and members of the Autodesk Developers Network. Stephen will give examples of the solutions that have been developed to make existing desktop applications 'cloud-connected' and also demonstrate new solutions that have been developed using Autodesk Forge to make what was previously impossible possible.Real-life customer example projects will be provided that focus on the benefits that construction professionals can unlock for both their own practice and their clients."
