This class will showcase the interoperability and advantages of having Vault software at the center of all your designs and documentation.

Vault software is the best tool for managing your CAD data, particularly for those involved in the design and engineering process. Once a design is completed, people outside the design team—clients, fabricators, manufacturers, and installers—will need to see your drawings. This class will show you how to use BIM 360 Docs software as your published documents portal, and how to get your approved drawings from Vault Professional software to BIM 360 Docs—where external consumers can access it through the BIM 360 Docs web portal or a mobile device. We’ll walk through configuring Vault Project Sync to publish files to BIM 360 Docs, as well as configuring BIM 360 Docs to ensure that only the right people get access to the files. We’ll also discuss the markup capabilities in BIM 360 Docs, and how to get the design team to see those markups.

This lecture will cover planned functionality for Vault product data management software. First, we aim to deliver a great, modern, context-sensitive user experience, which means we are making sure every persona/role within the company gets the right set of capabilities and the right technology. Our investments focus on perfecting and modernizing the experience. Secondly, we aim to enable you to connect to your data anywhere, everywhere by increasing data accessibility. Finally, we will reveal useful insights so you can improve your decision-making process by relying on the managed data.

In this class participants will learn how to maximize the use of AutoCAD Map 3D software source drawings in a multiuser CAD environment. We will talk about supplying the DWG geographic information system (GIS) CAD format for users' business needs. We will also cover the process of building source drawings from Oracle Spatial sources, and we'll discuss the distribution of source drawings across a WAN DFS system. Finally, we will cover source drawings and the mobile CAD user.

Do you reuse most or all of your previous designs for every new customer order? Do you want your salespeople and/or your customers to be able to easily configure design orders and be confident that the configurations are valid? If so, join us in this class as we discuss how Autodesk Inventor Engineer-to-Order (ETO) software delivers easy-to-use web and mobile interfaces for configuring products. You will also learn how Inventor ETO enables easy reuse and management of CAD data in the back-end database.
