Transformation from Software to Data: A Legal Perspective
In today’s cloud-enabled, data-driven world, Autodesk is working to protect customer data and use it to deliver ever-greater levels of insight and value. Bill Reagon shares his thoughts.
In the days of the perpetual license, Autodesk products came in a box, they were installed from a disk, and all the data you generated was stored locally on your computer. Fast forward to today, and Autodesk products are offered by subscription and connected to the cloud. This enables customers to do far more with their data than ever before, but it also makes data privacy and security an ever-evolving priority. And with the patchwork of laws around data security worldwide, meeting the highest requirements for compliance is just the starting point. Bill Reagon shares Autodesk’s vision and mission to build customer trust in order to deliver greater innovation and value.
