Renovation projects are on the rise, with digital methods like reality capture, model-based collaboration, and Digital Workplaces proving essential. AFRY Switzerland's “AFRY Bellinzona regional hub” is a prime example. Located in a historic Swiss town of Bellinzona, the 2,000 m² space was transformed from an unused commercial site into flexible, modern offices. Autodesk tools were used throughout: Recap for reality capture, Revit for model authoring, ACC for clash detection and coordination, AR visualisation, site reporting, and a Digital Workplace prototype with Tandem. was a top priority—repurposing the existing space helped meet initial goals, with recycled materials and 90% reused furniture from previous offices.

The Terminal 2 Baggage Programme (T2BP) at Heathrow aims to replace the aging T2 baggage system linked to Terminal 1. The new solution will be implemented in five phases across 21 construction projects, grouped by physical and operational attributes. A major challenge was managing design risks through different organizations and suppliers that interface at key areas in a live operational environment. The manual Excel processes used to record design risks led to difficulties in maintaining a single source of truth, causing duplication and errors. The goal was to find a streamlined, digital solution to standardize processes and enable monitoring and reporting through dashboards. After researching data environments, Construction Cloud was chosen for its suitability to manage design risk information, requiring customization through trial and feedback. The solution also provided integration with augmented reality (AR) for live inspections.

In this session, we'll take a deep dive into how AI can help your team's animators in a nondestructive and efficient way. We'll cover how to use Autodesk Flow Studio software as a base and bring that into Maya software for the regular hand-key stylized animation workflow for gameplay animations later exporting it to Unreal Engine to create a gameplay-ready asset. This workflow can also be used for film and TV animations.

Fragmented VFX pipelines rely on manual asset handoffs, inconsistent data, and disconnected tools across tracking, digital content creation (DCC), and finishing. This session will demonstrate a connected workflow linking Autodesk Flow Production Tracking, Maya, and Flame software through a natural language-driven orchestration layer. Asset ideas defined by text or images are transformed into timely prototypes for rapid iteration, automatically loaded into Maya, published to Autodesk Flow Production Tracking, and rendered to Flame for downstream work. The session will break down architecture, data flow, and automation patterns, including safeguards for reliability. You'll learn how to apply these patterns incrementally. A documented implementation supports exploration and reuse.

Esri's MapLibre GL JS software development kit (SDK) brings ArcGIS power to open-source maps: feature layers, vector tiles, terrain, geocoding, spatial analysis, and routing. Now add the Autodesk Platform Services Viewer rendering intelligent models directly into that same canvas. It's a match made in heaven for construction and asset management. This session will show how Esri and Autodesk are converging on MapLibre to deliver unified AEC-GIS experiences. Esri demonstrates their SDK's visualization and analysis POIs, feature styling, elevation, and basemaps while Autodesk fuses Revit models into the scene via shared WebGL rendering with synchronized cameras. Together, we build a complete construction-site intelligence view: geospatial context meets BIM precision, in about 300 lines of code.

The audience for this session will be polled beforehand on digital twin hot takes and cold truths. Based on the results, former virtual design and construction (VDC) professionals working in the digital twin technology space will share a hot take and cold truth from their experiences. For example, a hot take is: "You can build a digital twin with poor data quality, set goals with an emphasis on 3D visualization over operational outcomes, and do many pilot projects without scaling into broader operations." We'll identify opportunities and share anecdotes on empowering owners, operators, and their design and construction partners to connect capital delivery and facilities operations through digital twins.

Step beyond screen-based coordination and see how immersive design reviews can drive faster decisions in the room. In this in-person session, you'll learn how Tetra Tech uses Autodesk Workshop XR, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and mixed headset/web participation to review BIM models at full scale, validate designs against existing conditions, and capture issues live. Through practical workflows and project examples, we'll show how to connect Revit, Navisworks, and segmented mesh data into repeatable XR review sessions that improve stakeholder alignment, reduce late-stage surprises, and support more efficient project delivery.

Minimum plumbing fixture (MPF) calculations are often inconsistent, time-consuming, and dependent on Microsoft Excel (and the users' capabilities within it). This session will demonstrate how to integrate MPF calculations directly within Revit software using repurposed area data, project parameters, key schedules, and formulas. You'll learn how to implement piecewise functions to reflect code requirements, apply consistent rounding methods, and incorporate strategic overrides. This course will also introduce color scheme visualization to communicate fixture demand clearly to project teams and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs). By the end, you'll produce standardized, accurate, and code-compliant plumbing fixture calculations entirely within Revit, with a little help from Dynamo.

Project presentations in AutoCAD or Revit software are essential for the technical development of construction. However, what truly captivates the end client is the visual experience. Today, simple renders or videos are no longer enough. The real difference is telling a story through the project or allowing the client to explore the environment interactively, visiting and engaging with the space through virtual reality or immersive applications. This transforms the presentation into a memorable and engaging experience.

Few characters in modern horror are as unpredictable as Pennywise, whose terrifying transformations lie at the heart of IT: Welcome to Derry. In this session, Rodeo FX Animation Supervisor Scott Holmes will reveal how the team used Maya software to design rigs and craft performances for Pennywise's many monstrous forms. Through production examples and animation breakdowns, the talk will explore the creative process behind building creatures that can shift from subtle unease to full nightmare, while remaining believable, expressive, and terrifying on screen.

AI-powered animation is only as good as the data behind it, but most motion data wasn't designed for AI. In this session, we'll demonstrate a projection-mapped capture app that guides performers in real time to produce more-structured motion. As well as how Label Maker, a tool integrated within the Autodesk ecosystem, uses AI to turn raw motion data and videos into richly tagged, reusable data sets. You will walk away with a clearer picture of how to make motion data actually usable for AI, and how to rethink their pipelines to get there. The real value of motion data isn't in the capture it's in the enrichment.

A major crisis facing the VDC industry is model bloat. On large scale projects, placing thousands of dynamic, deeply nested native Revit hangers or small components triggers endless CPU parametric calculations that cripple model health, max out workstation RAM, and freeze synchronization times. To break this bottleneck, our product team chose a disruptive approach: pivoting away from standard Revit Families (.rfa) entirely and adopting Revit DirectShape technology. In this session, we will deep dive into the strategic evaluation behind moving the parametric engine outside of Revit to process calculations externally. We will demonstrate how injecting raw geometry directly into the project environment bypasses the family constraint solver, turning slow CPU-bound processing into fluid, GPU-driven visualization. Finally, learn how we map standard Shared Parameters to these elements to retain 100% of required BIM scheduling and tagging data.

Artificial intelligence is rapidly transforming the AEC space. Bringing new capabilities to Autodesk applications such as Revit, AutoCAD, Forma, Construction Cloud, and emerging AI-powered design and productivity tools. Realizing the full value of these innovations requires more than software it demands modern, AI-capable hardware. This session explores how workstation architecture, including high-performance CPUs, professional GPUs, dedicated AI accelerators, and optimized memory and storage configurations, enables faster design iteration, intelligent automation, real-time visualization, and enhanced collaboration. Attendees will learn how AI workloads are changing hardware requirements across BIM, CAD, visualization, simulation, and reality capture workflows, and how to future-proof their technology investments. Join us to discover why AI-ready workstations are becoming an essential foundation for the next generation of Autodesk-powered AEC projects.

The workstation GPU that handles your Revit models and 3ds Max renders may be showing its age not because Autodesk got more demanding, but because AI did. Local AI tools are rapidly becoming part of how design and engineering professionals work: generating concepts, automating repetitive tasks, and running inference without sending sensitive project data to the cloud. These workloads are GPU-hungry, and they compete directly with your Autodesk applications for the same critical resource: graphics memory. In this session, we'll give Autodesk users a practical framework for understanding GPU memory requirements across the workflows that matter to them. You'll see how real Autodesk applications perform under varying VRAM configurations, what happens when local AI enters the picture, and where the common pain points emerge. We'll also look at what the next generation of workstation GPUs brings to the table and whether an upgrade is warranted or premature.
