As more projects are being mandated to demonstrate reduced carbon impact during construction, managing contractors are now tasked with finding solutions to easily calculate and track the change in materials that affect Green Star ratings for their clients. This presentation will show you how Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) can use the project models using Forma Takeoff and the EC3 plug-in to effectively report and track carbon offsets to international standards.

Model-based takeoff for linear civil projects sounds great, until Civil 3D-to-IFC exports leave out the quantities and metadata needed to actually price the work. In this session, Kyle Field and Josh Boardman from ISL Engineering will show how they used Civil 3D, Dynamo, and Autodesk Forma Takeoff software to bridge that gap. You will see how custom Civil 3D property sets can turn 3D solids into takeoff-ready bid items by embedding missing length and area data, carrying standardized bid item information, and making model objects easier to isolate and quantify. The result is a more scalable workflow with less retracing, stronger QA/QC, and cleaner estimating outputs for linear civil projects.

Heirloom Carbon, a direct air capture (DAC) company, shares how its infrastructure team turned Autodesk Forma (including Forma Data Management, Forma Build, and Forma Takeoff) into a reliable, daily delivery platform. Like many architecture, engineering, construction, and operations (AECO) teams, they faced inconsistent onboarding, fragmented document control, and unclear governance across projects. This session will break down how the team established a scalable common data environment (CDE) through standardized templates, permissions, and workflows issues. You'll see how they improved collaboration, reduced rework, and increased delivery capacity, and you'll understand what failed or took longer than expected. Walk away with a practical playbook to configure and standardize Autodesk Forma for consistent, scalable project delivery.

BuildingConnected has long been the backbone for bid management and subcontractor qualification at Miller Davis. As early beta users, Miller Davis has worked closely with Autodesk to test workflows that bring BuildingConnected into Autodesk Forma alongside Autodesk Forma Takeoff and Autodesk Forma Estimate. The Miller Davis team will share how Forma Bid helps reduce tool fragmentation and keeps preconstruction work connected within a single environment. We'll discuss lessons learned from early adoption, and we'll walk through familiar workflows reimagined in Forma including RFP management, multiple proposals per project, bidder recommendations, qualification insights, bid leveling, and flexible reporting. The Autodesk product team will join to support the discussion.

Investing in preconstruction is one of the most effective ways to reduce risk and set projects up for long‑term success. Join this dynamic session with the Autodesk preconstruction product team to explore what's new and what's coming next for Autodesk Forma Takeoff, Autodesk Forma Estimate, Autodesk Forma Bid, BuildingConnected Pro, Bid Board Pro, and TradeTapp. You'll get an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at our product strategy, major initiatives on the horizon, and the customer feedback that's shaping our future. Bring your voice to the table and help influence the evolution of our preconstruction offerings. Whether you're a power user or just getting started, you won't want to miss this session!

A recent QuickBooks survey found that one in four construction companies risk closure if they make two or three inaccurate estimates. The estimation inaccuracy is caused by the complexity of 2D and 3D data and the frequent updates to bid packages. It's compounded by siloed takeoff and estimation processes. Autodesk addresses this by seamlessly integrating takeoff and estimation within Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud). This lab will give you firsthand experience in workflows that improve takeoff accuracy and estimation using a unified, connected platform. You'll link 2D and 3D takeoffs to cost data, enabling real-time estimation. Walk away with learnings to perform faster, data-driven takeoffs, and deliver predictable project estimates through a connected source of truth.

Construction teams face growing pressure to make early, data-driven carbon decisions. Yet fragmented regional data sets limit consistency and scalability across tools. This session will explore how TBI, a leading construction firm, is advancing end-to-end carbon assessment by connecting data across planning, design, and preconstruction workflows. Using Autodesk Forma Carbon Insights (Autodesk Forma, Revit, and Forma Takeoff) and the Sustainability Data API, TBI will demonstrate how API-powered strategies enable early-stage carbon comparisons across multiple regions, reduce manual data handling, and scale assessments across projects. You'll gain a strategic framework for driving better, data-informed decisions through connected, scalable carbon workflows.

There are still obstacles to sustainable design. Construction professionals know they must build faster, more efficiently, and more sustainably to meet global demands. The industry is moving away from waste and inefficiency, and is adopting smarter processes, connected teams, and workflows that ensure the right people have access to the data they need to make timely and confident decisions. That's why we need Revit software as a modeling tool; Autodesk Forma software with its conceptual design capabilities, predictive analytics, and design automation to help us to select the most-sustainable options in the early stages of the design process; Autodesk Docs software as our common data environment (CDE) and single source of truth; Design Collaboration to manage the exchange of design data between all project teams; Model Coordination for running efficient model coordination and automatic clash detection; Autodesk Build software for improved project, cost, and safety management; and Autodesk Takeoff software for early quantifications and estimations.

Autodesk Forma Data Management (formerly Autodesk Docs) and Revit hold powerful data, yet teams still spend hours on model QA, quantity takeoffs, and reporting. In this two-presenter session, we build a practical AI assistant for Revit and Forma Data Management on the Model Context Protocol (MCP), driven from both Claude and GPT. A Revit add-in bridges natural language drives structured, deterministic tool calls instead of unreliable prompt-only behavior.
