Description
Moving data back and forth between multiple design and modeling programs can be time-consuming and prone to error. The Civil 3D drainage design environment addresses this by allowing engineers to model complete stormwater systems in one place. This session will demonstrate a practical workflow for building a drainage network using the rainfall manager, catchments, channels, ponds, and underground storage components. You'll learn how to define rainfall events, generate runoff through catchments, create storage and conveyance elements, and run hydraulic analyses to evaluate system performance.
Key Learnings
- Learn how to input rainfall data using Rainfall Manager and catchments.
- Learn how to create channels, ponds, and underground storage systems.
- Learn how to connect system elements using pipe networks to build a complete model.
- Learn how to run and interpret drainage network analysis.
