    Description

    Departments of transportation and other highway agencies are attempting to integrate their workflows and information processes as they move from design through the construction stage of the infrastructure lifecycle. This effort is designed to achieve greater efficiencies and cost savings through better collaboration during the construction process, and help facilitate information flows into and out of the field. This panel (under the direction of Esri and Autodesk) will assemble three best practice examples from the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PENNDOT), and the Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) to present their current initiatives and engage in a panel discussion. The session will focus on the successes and difficulties each agency encountered as they sought to streamline their workflows associated with the digital delivery process, and how Esri and Autodesk helped them better align their processes with technology.
