Description
Deutsche Bahn AG (DB) offers passenger and freight transport solutions, with a focus on Germany. DB Systel GmbH is a wholly owned subsidiary of DB and the driver of digitalization for all of the Group companies. Digital representation of assets is vital for instant status checks and effective decision making. Currently, BIM offers asset details during projects, yet maintenance data often resides in isolated silos, managed manually. DB’s current focus is breaking down data silos between BIM and maintenance systems using Tandem software to enable artificial intelligence (AI)-driven insights in the future. This session will highlight how DB is piloting Tandem software to bring together BIM and maintenance data—which are often disconnected. By connecting intelligent models with live maintenance data, DB accelerates knowledge transfer, improves efficiency, and paves the way for AI-driven predictive maintenance. Learn how Deutsche Bahn is using data and Digital Workplaces, and setting the stage for smarter and sustainable railways.
