Description
Strategic alignment: integrated workflows, convergence across tools (Forma + Revit + Workshop XR) to create impact. This focuses on "business outcomes" by eliminating the "render-review-rework" cycle. Coordination gaps between master planners and building designers often lead to costly rework during design development. Using the KEO project as a case study, this session demonstrates how to establish Autodesk Forma as a "single source of truth." We showcase a scalable strategy applied across our projects and a workflow demo where design constraints are pushed through Revit into Workshop XR for 1:1 scale review. Learn how this integrated approach allows global teams to make instant, data-backed decisions from massing and orientation to design details, ensuring total stakeholder alignment before construction.
Key Learnings
- Conduct multi-user immersive design reviews in Workshop XR to validate spatial flow and urban density at 1:1 scale.
- Build a live data bridge between Autodesk Forma (using Boards & Issues) with Revit models to maintain real-time synchronization of design constraints.
- Resolve multi-disciplinary coordination clashes by pinning real-time issues in XR that sync directly back to the ACC.
- Analyze the impact of immersive stakeholder signoffs on reducing the frequency of late-stage design revisions.
