Description
Esri's MapLibre GL JS software development kit (SDK) brings ArcGIS power to open-source maps: feature layers, vector tiles, terrain, geocoding, spatial analysis, and routing. Now add the Autodesk Platform Services Viewer rendering intelligent models directly into that same canvas. It's a match made in heaven for construction and asset management. This session will show how Esri and Autodesk are converging on MapLibre to deliver unified AEC-GIS experiences. Esri demonstrates their SDK's visualization and analysis POIs, feature styling, elevation, and basemaps while Autodesk fuses Revit models into the scene via shared WebGL rendering with synchronized cameras. Together, we build a complete construction-site intelligence view: geospatial context meets BIM precision, in about 300 lines of code.
Key Learnings
- Learn how to use Esri's MapLibre SDK for GIS analysis feature layers, vector tiles, terrain, and spatial enrichment.
- Learn how to integrate Autodesk Platform Services Viewer into MapLibre's WebGL canvas using shared rendering and camera synchronization.
- Learn how to combine intelligent models with geospatial context for construction site and asset management workflows.
- Learn how to build open-source AEC-GIS visualization stacks using Esri and Autodesk platforms together.
