Description
Most architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) organizations struggle to scale automation and AI because BIM data is fragmented, inconsistently governed, and tied to individual projects. This session will show how Drees & Sommer and AnkerDB built a centralized BIM data backbone using Autodesk Platform Services and Autodesk Forma (formerly Autodesk Construction Cloud) to enable reliable automation and consistent data quality at scale. The collaboration started as a rapid proof of concept at DevCon 2025, was validated across multiple projects, and is now scaling at the business-unit level. The session will explain how Autodesk Forma data, Autodesk Platform Services software, and downstream systems were connected to support automated validation, data enrichment, analytics, integrations, and AI-supported workflows for cost management and lifecycle assessment (LCA).
Key Learnings
