    Description

Discover the partnership between Microdesk and Black Artists + Designers Guild (BADG) with the Autodesk Foundation. We’ll look at processes that went into creating a virtual reality (VR) conceptual house that would engage with a large audience, encouraging users to interact with the spaces and explore the artwork. We’ll showcase a workflow that enables flexibility during unpredictable design changes when a strict deadline’s involved. We’ll further explain the pressures and successes of the project, plus the lessons we’ve learned. Through digitalization, we implemented technologies to enable an immersive experience. We’ll showcase how we used Revit software as a foundation that let us capitalize on 3ds Max software’s flexibility during unexpected schedule changes. Finally, we’ll discuss the Unity workflow we’ve created for future projects. This will highlight innovative practices, new interactive technologies, and immersive simulations, and will give audiences a richer experience, while still focusing on the arts and culture.
