Description
To work effectively, AutoCAD Civil 3D software requires all sorts of data, including Templates, Tool Palettes, Catalogs, Subassemblies, and so on. Now, add in a need for users to be more mobile. How does someone understand what this data is, maintain an updated standard set, and enable users to be mobile and work away from the office—all with the company standards in place? That’s where this class comes in. We will summarize all data required to make AutoCAD Civil 3D software simply purr. We’ll then teach you how to use Windows Batch files (no experience required) to set up a simple CAD data-syncing system between user machines and your server master copy. This will enable users to disconnect from the company network and still have AutoCAD Civil 3D software fully functional. When users log back into the network, they will automatically get any updates made to the CAD data. Sound like a pipe dream? It’s not. It’s simple and easy to set up. So, put that CAD-manager hat on and come join us! This session features AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and AutoCAD MEP. AIA Approved
