    Description

Building the tallest skyscraper in the world (over 1,000 meters high with 250-plus floors) is a chilling experience and leaves no scope for mistakes and rework. This class will discuss detailed Building Information Modeling (BIM) workflow and setup for the complete design engineering, simulation, and construction of this engineering challenge. Attendees will learn the interface of Building Design Suite along with third-party software to manage the design iterations for optimization and changing specifications from owners. This will be an in-depth presentation on how BIM facilitated various design disciplines to collaborate in a seamless manner to enhance the construction efficiency and building performance. This session features Revit and Navisworks Manage.

    Key Learnings

    • Learn about design engineering and simulation for high-rise buildings
    • Learn about BIM setup for workflow integration and collaboration between stakeholders
    • Learn how to integrate third-party software with Revit for design engineering
    • Learn how to ensure that the preconstruction BIM model is the as-built model
