Description
This class will present a comparative study of 5 European hospitals that Brunet Saunier Architecture conducted, based on 45 criteria. We will develop some of these criteria and explain the need to adapt the projects to local cultures. We will also present some of the BIM (Building Information Modeling) management workflows used for the Lariboisière Hospital in Paris (France). We used Revit software to manage the space planning for more than 2,600 hospital rooms. We also used BIM 360 Docs software to collaborate with all the stakeholders (including the owner/operator). In addition, we used Navisworks software to perform coordination during the design phase.
Key Learnings
- Understand the analysis of a comparative study of 5 health care projects
- Focus on the most important criteria (out of 45)
- Understand the importance of BIM in health care projects
